Illegal Work

The illegal work refers to the following cases.

  1. Foreign nationals with the status of residence which allows them to be employed or to work operate buisness to gain income or engage in activties to get compensation outside the scope permitted by the status of residence without gaining any work permit outside the scope permitted.
  2. Foreign nationals with the status of residence which does not allow them to be employed or to work operate buisness to gain income or engage in activties to get compensation without gaining any work permit outside the scope permitted.
  3. Foreign nationals stay in Japan beyond the prescribed period of stay and are employed or work.

In these cases, work applies to illegal work prescribed in the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act and the party involved becomes eligible for deportation and criminal punishment.
