[For Use of City Gas (Tokyo Gas)]
Nakano City provides type 13A city gas. Be sure to use gas equipment that is for type 13A gas. When you move into a new home (and start using gas), you must call Tokyo Gas and have them open the main valve. When you move out (and stop using gas), you must give advance notification to Tokyo Gas and settle your account.
If you need propane gas, please contact the appropriate dealer.
If you notice a gas leak or if the city gas alarm goes off, first of all, open the windows and doors and shut off any gas equipment, the gas tap and main valve of the gas meter. Then, call Tokyo Gas immediately. Do not use any products that produce a flame or even touch the switch of the ventilator or electric appliances.
If an earthquake with a seismic intensity of 5 or more strikes, the gas meter detects the quake and the gas valve automatically shuts down, cutting off the gas supply. You can restore the gas supply by following a simple set of procedures. Instructions on how to restore the gas supply are attached to the gas meter.
